First off, Happy New Year to everyone.
Winter has hit the Northeast with a vengeance this week. The temperatures are downright frigid out side today not getting above 20 degrees daytime and a fierce wind howling w/50mile per hour gusts.
The market is still heated up as the temperatures are dropping all around the country.
The time for the first time home buyers credit has been extended and expanded as well. If you can be in contract by April 30th 2010 and close by June 30th 2010, you could still take advantage of the tax credit but you better hurry.

Historically, interest rates are still at an all time low.

The Real Estate Market on the other hand has been heating up. With interest rates at historically low rates, and the first time home buyers incentives being extended as well to include current home owners of homes for the last 5 years. Now could not be a better time to buy a home.
